FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you make all your jewellery yourself?

Yes — every piece is designed and handmade by me in my Manawatū home-based studio. I work in small batches and often make to order, so each piece is created with care and attention to detail.

What materials do you use?

I work with recycled metals (including sterling silver and gold) and a carefully chosen mix of natural and lab-grown stones. This allows me to create jewellery that’s both beautiful and responsibly made.

What does “made-to-order” mean?

Made-to-order means your piece is crafted just for you once your order is placed. This helps reduce waste, allows for small custom touches, and ensures your jewellery is freshly made rather than mass-produced.

How long will my order take?

Most made-to-order pieces are ready within 4 weeks. Small-batch items in stock can ship within a few days. If you need something for a special date, please get in touch before ordering and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

Do you accept custom orders?

Yes — I love working
with clients on custom designs. Whether you have a stone you’d like to use, want to adapt one of my existing designs, or need something unique for a special occasion, send me an email and we can discuss your ideas.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — I ship from New Zealand to most countries. Shipping times and costs will vary depending on location and will be shown at checkout.

What’s your returns policy?

As each piece is handmade, I don’t accept returns for change of mind. However, if there’s a fault with your item, please contact me within 14 days of receiving it and I’ll make it right.

Jewellery Care

Your Maggie Krsinich Jewellery is crafted from solid sterling silver and solid gold — metals chosen for their lasting beauty and durability. With the right care, your pieces will become even more treasured over time.

Cleaning Your Jewellery at Home
• Silver pieces may naturally develop a soft patina or slight tarnish. To brighten them, gently polish with a soft, lint-free cloth made specifically for jewellery. Avoid abrasive cleaners or rough cloths that can scratch the surface.
• Gold pieces are durable but can lose some shine from daily wear. A gentle polish with a jewellery cloth will restore their natural glow.
• For both metals, avoid using harsh chemicals or soaking in household cleaners, as this can damage the finish or any stones.

Storage Tips
• Store your jewellery separately in a soft pouch or lined jewellery box to avoid scratches and tangling.
• Keep pieces away from direct sunlight and moisture when not being worn.

Repolishing & Professional Cleaning

Over time, your jewellery may benefit from a professional repolish to restore its original shine and smoothness. I offer a repolishing and cleaning service here in my Manawatū studio, designed to refresh your treasured pieces and keep them looking like new.

Simply get in touch to arrange sending your jewellery in, and I’ll take care of the rest.

Extra Care Tips
• Remove your jewellery before swimming, showering, or exercising to avoid exposure to chlorine, saltwater, or sweat.
• Put your jewellery on last when getting ready, after applying lotions, perfumes, or hair products to avoid build-up.
